Introducing The Missing Something Club

At long last, my second novel has been released.  Maybe I’m the only one who has been anticipating this event, but that’s okay too.  It’s a fun process, and I keep learning along the way.  Nothing wrong with that.

The Missing Something Club is a story about Kate, an aging baby boomer fully entrenched in mid-life crisis.  Educated, literary, her two sons off to college and beyond, and newly divorced–her ex-husband having taken all the money with him.  Suddenly isolated after a lifetime of steadfastly playing a role that wasn’t her.  So she posted an invite on a social networking website to find others who were also missing something out of life.  Five strangers responded , and they began to gather each week at a bar in Harvard Square.  Emboldened by their unfamiliarity and too much alcohool, they coontemplated relationships, sex, love, parentiing, and mortality.  Eventually they shared the secrets of their confused lives and attempted to play therapist for one another.  That’s when the @!*%! hit the fan.

I hope you have as much fun reading this as I did writing it.
